Christmas Eve with Mom (Day 2)

Day 2 and it's Christmas Eve. The moms and I spend the whole day together running errands, shopping, movie watching, dining out, and opening presents. It was a classic mother-daughter outing. I didn't take many pics this day because we were SO busy. We were running all over the city seeing people, then it was back to her side of town for a quick movie (saw 2012 for the 2nd time and still LOVED it). After that, it was dinner at Applebee's and some quick shopping at Old Navy. Starting to feel the strains of travel, I sucked it up for the 10pm showing of a Christmas Carol. After all of that, we still managed to have the energy to go back home and open presents. It was a fabulous non-stop day. Totally worth the bags under my eyes from lack of sleep :-p

The daughter

The mother-hey pretty lady!

Mom's place all decked out for Christmas

Not as big as before, but hey, moms is never really at home to really enjoy a large Christmas tress. Nevertheless, it is pretty :-)

Santa is just chillin'

Family pics and more!

My haul from mom! Loved it all!

...especially one of the watches she gave me. I guess 3 years will do the trick.

Coming to America~

I'm coming home!! It's been over 3 long years, but I'm finally going home for a visit. So, was back to ATL for me and I was thrilled to going back. I knew that I had a long trek ahead of me, but I couldn't care less. I mean, HOME! It just doesn't get any better than that. With everything packed and ready, I was off for my 14hr journey back to the good ol' USA!

Right about to walk out the door.

My plane! It was a massive double-decker.

Guess who flew business??

You guessed it-ME! Upper deck business that is :-D

Check out the leg room. This was my 1st time flying upper-deck business.

Mmmm...OJ. Just couldn't bring myself to drink alcohol so early

Upon arriving, I was greeted by my lovely mom, my best friend Ethan, his beautiful wife Layla, and their bundle of joy Jacob. I didn't get to take many pics then because I was pooped from all of the flying, moving watching, going through customs, and blah blah blah blah. So, we will pick up at my mom's place

Papa and son-how cute are they?

Layla and Jacob.

My new god-son (Yea, I'm his "self-proclaimed god-mother)!! A.K.A Spit-bubbles, aka pookie-dookie, aka Jacob :p

Screw the spit, he just lets it all come out! LOL!

The beautiful family: Ethan, Layla, and Jacob! I LOVE these guys! They are my best-est friends back home.

WAL-MART!!! I had to go-it's MASSIVE!

Look! Random Black people! *whispers* They were everywhere! GAWD I loved being back!

A dozen cupcakes with tooth-breaking icing was only $5! That would cost well over $15-$20 if they had them in Japan! Did I buy them? YES!

Look at all of the sweets. I just had to get a pic.

Have you seen some many different types of Oreos?!

Mmmmm, snack cakes...just looking at them made me gain 5lbs and my teeth hurt :p

Sweet Layla with the sweets

Yes, they have Bleach (Japanese anime) Yes, it's in both English and Japanese. Yes, it was dirt cheap (only $20). No, I didn't buy it...I've seen them already :-)

What? It roared at me first!

Yea, he thinks I'm crazy

We couldn't end my first day back without going to the Waffle House!!

Oh yeah, fix that waffle...sexy~

I love America! When I say "no ice" they still give me a full glass of drink. Unlike here where I would only get half (maybe).

...it was heaven (and as Layla says: grease) on a plate. D-freakin'-licious!

Gochisousamadeshita!

Breakfast!

Well, that was day 1! It felt sooooooooo good to be back. I still had another 12 (and a half) days of good times ahead of me!
