Last weekend, the girls and I had a wonderful day at the New Nagoya Musical Theater. We saw the show Jesus Christ Superstar Japanese style. It was AMAZING!! You would think that the style coupled with the 70's hippie music would clash horribly, but they blending well together. And yes, everything was in Japanese. But, it was a pretty good translation from what I could understand. I have some pics below for you to enjoy. The ones of the performance I took from the program I bought so I DO NOT OWN THEM. I'm just borrowing them to show you how awesome the show was. Sorry for the poor quality but the light in my room is horrible. But you will get the picture.

花見ーCherry blossom at Okazaki Castle
Spring is the time for cherry blossom viewing in Japan. Thousands of people gather at the parks to "look" at the beautiful blossoms before they fall...at least that is what they say. The truth is, this is just a time to go to the park and drink until you are stupid drunk. Me, I like the flowers, so I tend to avoid the drinking and focus on the beauty of the moment. You can drink anywhere at anytime, but cherry blossoms only bloom for about 2 weeks out of the year. So, during my spring vacation, my friend Simone and I took a day trip to Okazaki Castle to enjoy the exquisite blossoms.
